Nowy słownik pojęć testerskich od ISTQB
Pierwszego kwietnia 2010 r. pojawił się nowy słownik ISTQB "Standard glossary of terms used in Software Testing. Version 2.1"  Sprawa nienagłośniona przeszła bez echa.
Aby zrozumieć, jaki wpływ na nas ma nowa wersja sylabusa, przyjrzyjmy się zmianom w nim dokonanym.

Nowe pojęcia oznaczają łatwiejsze przygotowanie do egzaminów. Szczególnie dla poziomu Advanced, gdzie kursanci narzekali na nieadekwatność pojęć. Teraz są one znacznie lepiej opisane. Pojawiał się również zarzut, że pomimo iż niektóre pojęcia są wymagane, nie są w ogóle opisane w słowniku. 

Z drugiej strony należy przyswoić zmienione definicje i nowe pojęcia. 

Dla osób zdających egzamin w języku polskim ta zmiana nie ma żadnego znaczenia tak długo, jak SJSI nie przygotuje tłumaczenia dla nowego słownika.
